Who we are - competency
The Czech Trade Inspectorate is a state governed body, an organizational section of the state, where the general director is appointed by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic. It has been established in accordance with Rule No. 64/1986 Coll., the Czech Trade Inspectorate law. The main body is the central inspectorate, which manages all its inspectorates, located in main regional city of each county.Organizational structure

Director General
The head of the Czech Trade Inspection Authority is the Director General, who is appointed, managed and recalled by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic. The Director General appoints and recalls directors of each Inspectorate, whose headquarters have been assigned to them by the General Director, as described in his territorial authority.
