So far, the inspectors performed 11 controls and law infringements were detected in 8 cases, i.e. 73% of the total number.

In July, 5 controls were performed and 3 times fine was issued in the total amount of CZK 3,000. Once, the control was resolved by issuing a fine at the inspection location on the amount of CZK 1,000. Among the most frequent law infringements belonged not informing the consumer about the weight of the sold products.

Concerning August, on August 13, 2010, the inspectors performed a one-day control activity consisting of 6 controls. They detected law infringements in 4 cases. In 2 controlled persons, use of an uncertified measure – scales – was discovered. These findings were resolved by the inspectors at the inspection location by issuing fines in the total amount of CZK 2,500. Other two findings were resolved by issuing fines at the inspection location in the total amount of CZK 2,000. Once it was infringement of law when a bill did not contain all requirements defined by law and once a controlled person did not allow remeasuring on a certified measure.
