Control in Brno marketplace

(Prague, February 10, 2010) The Jihomoravský and Zlínský Inspectorate of the Czech Trade Inspection Authority on January 12 performed a control in the marketplace Olomoucká in Brno. They focused on offer and selling of goods infringing intellectual property rights.

The control was performed by 27 inspectors of the Czech Trade Inspection Authority. Together with the Jihomoravský and Zlínský Inspectorates also Moravskoslezský and Olomoucký and Jihočeský and Vysočina Inspectorates participated. In addition, the event went ahead in cooperation with the Alien Police.

In total 1.880 pieces of fakes of clothes, shoes and fancy goods in the total amount of 2.267.230 CZK were confiscated.
