The inspectors focused on offering and selling vibrators, anal sticks, vaginas, aphrodisiacs, lubricants, scanties, porn DVDs, condoms and blow-up dolls. The objective of the control was to check abidance with the Act on Consumer Protection.

In the particular period from July 15 till August 15, 2010, control of 5 subjects in total was performed and infringements of the Act on Consumer Protection were detected in all the controlled subjects. Infringement of the Czech Trade Inspection Act was not proven. The most frequent infringement was incorrect provision of information on products, especially information in Czech were missing.

In 4 cases of the mentioned law infringements, fines at the inspection location were issued in the total amount of CZK 2,000 and in 1 case a sanction in the total amount of CZK 3,000 was issued in an administrative proceeding. Except for the fines, also ban of sale was issued on 132 pieces of goods in the total amount of CZK 90,552.
