Controls of fuels - Cooperation with state bodies
(Prague, February 1, 2010) The Czech Trade Inspection Authority (further referred to as the CTIA) cooperates long-term with all elements of the Customs Office and the Police of the Czech Republic on controls and regular monitoring of fuels’ quality in the Czech Republic. To these and also to other state bodies (such as Trade License Offices) the CTIA relegates all data gained from analysis of the fuels in the case of non-satisfactory results. Consequential investigations of the police and the customs authority are very complicated and the CTIA cooperates on them fully. This is why we consider publishing names, addresses and other data of controlled and fined persons to be worsening the work of the mentioned state bodies. For this reason the CTIA henceforward insists on its previous statement not to provide such kind of information and still waits for the court’s decision and interpretation.
