CTIA: E-shops' business terms and conditions must not be deceitful
(Prague, October 5, 2011) The Czech Trade Inspection Authority will keep examining Czech e-shops as it has done so far. If its inspectors find out that information provided at a web page of an e-shop e.g. in general terms and conditions are in contradiction with the interpretation of the European Court of Justice, the finding will be investigated as suspicion of infringement of the Act on Consumer Protection. In the consequence of pieces of news informing about consumer rights concerning withdrawal from distance contracts, i.e. especially in e-shops, and frequent information requests concerning the topic, the CTIA provides the following information...
