Toy box PIRÁT 1695 KIDS
Toy box (without ventilation holes) is designed to be used by children without age limitation. The inside of the box may be attractive to a child and the child may use this box as a shelter. If the lid is closed and locked in place by another child, the child inside the box may be endangered. In such scenario, small enclosed space and lack of oxygen may cause the child to experience a serious shock, which may even lead to unconsciousness of the child.
Ejection umbrella with a whistle
The performed evaluations revealed that wire ends of the umbrella are easily exposed during manipulation. When the umbrella is open, the wire ends are freely accessible and may injure the child face or eyes. The danger of injury is even greater, because the umbrella opens automatically.
The diameter of the wires is only 1.3 mm. It creates sharp edges and ends. The whistle is manufactured from hard plastic and the loop of the whistle may be easily broken off.
The CTIA banned these products from sale and distributors of these products accepted applicable corrective measures and recalled these products from markets.
