Deficiencies were found in 8 sellers, concretely sale of products without any marking and obligatory information in Czech; breaches of the obligation to inform the consumer about the price and to give out a bill of purchase on demand. Offering and selling of products infringing some intellectual property rights was not detected in any checked subject.
The inspectors imposed 6 fines at the stake in the total amount of CZK 5,500. The amount of other two fines will be decided by the inspectorate’s director in administrative proceedings. At the spot, ban on selling of 29 types of products was issued until remedy. This concerned 641 pieces of products without any proper marking in the value of CZK 26,648.
One of them was an “all for CZK 39” stall where the inspectors found that at 137 pieces of 8 types of products in the total value of CZK 3961 information on producer, importer or supplier are not provided to the consumer.
