Within the framework of this search event, 59 inspections have been performed. In 27 cases, the CTIA discovered violations of consumer rights protection law, as amended, mainly because the seller did not properly inform the consumer about all product properties, use or maintenance. Also the General product safety law, as amended, was violated.

The CTIA banned 629 products from sale, in the total value of CZK 404,043,-. On one occasion, a fine in the amount of CZK 500,- was issued and in 10 cases, applicable legal proceeding with the violators will begin.  

On one occasion, the Jihomoravský and Zlínský Inspectorate collected sample of steel ladder DRABEST DRST 4 because the steps of the ladder were deformed. The collected sample will be forwarded to the applicable authority for product safety analysis.
