SUBJECT TO CONTROLS:
Fuel stations on the territory of the Czech Republic.
OBJECT OF THE CONTROL:
Collecting samples of fuels (motor petrol, motor oil, mixed fuels and LPG) and controlling their quality. The CTI checked abiding of rule No. 3 item 1 of the law No. 311/2006 Coll., the Fuel Regulations.
CONTROL RESULTS:
Out of total 152 samples collected in March 2010 there were 6 samples that did not meet the requirements, i.e. 10,5 %.

The chart shows that in March defects were found in motor petrol and motor oil samples. Out of 61 controlled samples of motor petrols, 5 samples (8,2 %) did not meet the particular quality standard requirements. In 4 samples defect was found within the distillation test, vapour pressure and aromas content. Density was unsatisfactory in 2 cases (3,3 %) and in one case (1,6 %) ethanol and oxygen content did not meet the requirements.
Out of 76 controlled motor oil samples, 11 samples (14,5 %) did not meet the requirements. In 6 cases (7,9 %) samples showed a deviation in the fuel flash point; in 7 cases they did not pass the distillation test. Also in 3 cases (3,9 %) there was unsatisfactory contents of fatty acid methyl ester (FAME).
In 15 samples of LPG no defects were found.
Results (in accordance with the kinds of fuels), including found defective criteria, are to be seen on the attachment nr. 1.
Overall data on fuel stations by who defects in fuels quality were found in March 2010 are to be seen in the attachment nr. 2.; it also shows values of defective quality indicators.
Overall data on fuel stations by who defects in fuels quality were found in March 2010 are to be seen in the attachment nr. 2.; it also shows values of defective quality indicators.
In March were found violations of upper acceptable limit of bio ingredients in the fuels; it was in 3 motor oil sample and in 1 motor petrol samples.
In March the maximal value of FAME content in the motor oil samples is 12,9 % of content. The maximal detected content of ethanol in motor petrol was 9,4 % of content.
In March all LPG samples met the requirements. Analysis of the collected samples showed deviations from quality standards in 11 samples of motor oils and in 5 samples of motor petrol. In March were 10,5 % unsatisfactory samples.
