Inspections focusing on the fact, whether consumer rights protection law is observed are common practice of monitoring activities of markets and buy and sell affairs along the border. “Inspection activities performed during this time revealed deficiencies in goods pricing policies or in connection with responsibilities to provide consumers with applicable and relevant information. However, it is not a widespread issue or problem, but mainly negligence of local and individual sellers”, said RNDr. Jana Příhodová, the General Director of the Czech Trade Inspection Authority.
