12 inspectors of the Jihomoravský and Zlínský Inspectorate of the CTIA participated in the control together with Alien Police. The control was focused on selling, offering and stocking goods infringing some intellectual property rights and 520 pieces of products illegally marked with trade-marks. The originals’ price would be more than one million CZK.
Checked persons were identified and expert opinions confirmed that the products are fakes, so administrative proceedings will be launched with the controlled persons. It will be decided about sanctions’ amounts, confiscation of goods and its subsequent liquidation or handing in to humanitarian purposes.
