Within the control action, all CTIA inspectorates focused on abidance with requirements of the Act No. 22/1997 Coll. on Technical Requirement on Products. Inspectors checked toys of various manufacturers and checked their mechanical and physical features, checked whether all necessary information are provided in each product, especially information on proper use and sufficient warnings against risks, the same as whether information is provided in Czech.

Deficiencies found and actions taken:
Missing information in Czech belonged to the most frequent defects. In one case, inspectors imposed an order at the spot in the amount of CZK 1,000 due to breach of this obligation (breach of the section 9 par., section 11 of the Act No. 634/1992 Coll. on Consumer Protection) and administrative proceedings will be launched with four checked subjects. In three cases, the controlled persons were issued to remedy detected deficiencies in a deadline. Two cases are still being investigated.
