It is a children's bicycle Cat Rabbit Yeah, which does not comply with applicable safety requirements. The front and the rear brake cannot be positioned in an efficient breaking position, without the use of tools. The inner part of the driving chain gear is not sufficiently covered. The expanded handle ends of handlebars do not have the required length (minimum of 40 mm). The measured length was only 32 mm. The seat rod does not have a minimum insertion level marked on it and it does not have a permanent stopper, which shall prevent the seat to be pulled out of the frame above the allowed length.
The product does not have any user´s manual. The bicycle frame is missing a visible and sturdy label, specifying the manufacturer name or the applicable distributor or standard/code.
It is very likely that when riding this bicycle, clothing, shoe laces or fingers may get caught by the chain, because the chain is not properly covered. Also insufficient rims on the ends of the handlebar may cause hands of the rider to slip out. This may also cause a fall of the rider. Therefore, this product represents a real danger during common use.
The CTI prohibited sale of the above-mention product and the distributor accepted applicable measures and recalled this product from the market.
