It is a light chain model 140 Twinkle Lights, Item: 885140F, imported by D.C.Star s.r.o. The product is originally from China.

The above-mentioned product has several constructional deficiencies - insufficient size of cross-section of inner wires, insufficient wire protection (connection by soldering only) and unacceptable flexural tension (relevant to the electronic unit), dimensions of fork plug do not comply with the applicable tolerances, insufficient length of the power cable, alive electric pins of the power plug may be touched during connecting/plugging the fork into the power outlet, wires of the light chain have only basic insulation - which may cause injuries by electric shock or even fires.

The Czech Trade Inspectorate forbade this product from sale and from being introduced to the market, ordered recall of this product from the market and established the responsibility to inform consumers about dangerous nature of this product.
