The CTI prohibited dangerous toy from being sold on markets ? the dinosaur egg.
(Prague, April 24, 2009), the Czech Trade Inspectorate discovered that a dangerous consumer product is being sold on the Czech market. This product represents a serious danger to small children.
It is an expanding Dinosaur egg, EAN : 859 244 404 4341. Product is manufactured in China and the importer is OSMA Werm GmbH Karlstadt am Main.
This toy is dangerous, because it is prohibited for expanding materials to expand any of its parts by more that 50% of its original volume. In this case, all measured parts expanded more than 50%.
The CTI prohibited sale of the above-mention product and the distributor accepted applicable measures and recalled this product from the market.
