It is a plush toy from the well-know TV series Teletubies. The toy is powered by three batteries, located on the rear side, under zipper. The toy sings and emits light.
The product does not have any manufacturer or importer name on it, product name and age group specifications are also missing.
The product has the CE symbol on it.

Discovered defects:
The above mentioned product does not comply with the ČSN EN 71-1+A4:2007 standard, describing toy safety regulations. Part 1: the Mechanical and physical properties.
Article No. 5.2 , letter b)
When the zipper on the back of the toy is open, the soft filling material is easily accessible. The child may take the material out, tear it apart and create small pieces, which may be inhaled or swallowed, causing suffocation of the child. This material also permeates through the zipper.
Risk level: Serious
The above mentioned product does not comply with the ČSN EN 62115:2006, describing toy safety of electronic toys.

The battery compartment is easily accessible without using any tools and it is not protected sufficiently. The child may gain access to the battery compartment by simply opening the zipper.
Risk level: Serious
Conclusion:
Risk of injuries and suffocation, risk of inhaling or swallowing small parts and risk of injuries due to insufficient protection of the battery compartment.
This product does not comply with the applicable and basic toy technical regulations, as described by Rule No. 2, Item 1 NV No. 19/2003 Coll., describing toy technical requirements in connection with Rule No. 13, law No. 22/97 Coll., describing product technical requirements, as amended.
