The Czech Trade Inspectorate discovered that an unsatisfactory consumer product is being sold on the Czech market.  It is a children´s toy - a radio controlled toy car.

Inspectors of the Czech Trade Inspectorate determined that the above mentioned product - RC Super Car No.8985/ny13549 72pcs/CTN, supplied by PTT s.r.o. is unsatisfactory and defective.

The working frequency of the RC toy is 79,35 MHz, which is an illegal frequency and may not be used in the European Union. Further, this product does not complies with applicable radio emission standards. Testing revealed that limiting frequencies 197,42 MHz, 345,46 MHz and 690,91 MHz are not observed. The measured value of 345,46 MHz 37,3 dBm, exceeds the limiting value of 54dBm by 16,7 dBm.

The Czech Trade Inspectorate recommends to all consumers who bought this defective product to claim it at the place of purchase as defective, due to incompliance with purchase agreement.
