Long term fight of the Spanish European Consumer Centre against the unfair commercial practices of some timeshare companies and holiday clubs brought first important results. The UK Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) has revoked the authorisation they gave to ETOO to broadcast TV advertisement about their services on the UK TV. Police in Spain have closed sales decks of Discount Travel Membership Club and two another resale companies, the principals of which are being sought by the authorities.

Unfortunately there are still not the companies against which the Czech consumers complained.
