This webpage located on the web server of the Czech Trade Inspection Authority has been created to provide accessibility in accordance with important regulations as specified in Best practice regulations – describing regulations for the creation of accessible web pages pursuant to Rule No. 365/2000 Coll., describing regulations relevant to public information systems.
Presentations on this server are encoded in XHTML protocol 1.0 Strict, while observing CSS style regulations, which enabled us to separate the actual look of the presentation from the provided information. This method allowed us to display information on all existing equipment. The entire web is defined in relative units and its contents may be simply zoomed in or out by using tools offered by standard web browsers.
Some parts of our webpage are still not modified and done in accordance with the accessibility methods. These parts will be gradually processed and modified during the month of July 2008.
Some information offered on this server is available in PDF format, mainly because they contain typographic elements and formats, which are not supported by the XHTML protocol, or these documents are too large and it is better to download them then view them on the web directly. To view these documents it is necessary to have Adobe Reader installed on your computer. Adobe Reader is available for free download here.
In few cases, the documents are published only in MS Word format (without option to display them by using HTML or XHTML protocols). Such documents are published on this server only if they contain formatting which cannot be converted into other formats or if they are too large and have no direct connection or relevance to the Czech Trade Inspection Authority, or if the owner of these documents does not wish these documents to be converted into other formats or processed in any other way. In this case, use this link of Microsoft to download viewer into your computer, so you can view these documents.
If the attached file takes up too much space, or if there are too many of files, it would take you a long time to download all of them. Therefore, some files were compressed into ZIP files in order to reduce their size. Before opening files in ZIP format, you must first "unpack" the file. There are many types of free software available on the Internet, which you can download and use to open ZIP files. Most probably you have similar software installed already in your computer, or your operation system has similar software integrated within itself.
