It is an electric Christmas light chain MULTIFUCTION LED LIGHT, with non-removable 100 LEDs and 8-function switch, EAN 4561324161403, manufactured in China.

"Even though Christmas holidays are still far away, we would like to warn consumers and urge them not to buy this light chain, because it poses a serious risk of electrical shock. We would like to repeat the warning even before Christmas", said RNDr. Jana Příhodová, the General Director of the Czech Trade Inspection Authority.

Product parameters do not comply with the applicable standards. The evaluation of the product revealed that live parts of the fork plug are accessible after being inserted into the wall socket, the length between the fork plug and the first LED socket is too short and the size of the fork plug does not comply with the applicable standards.  Besides other issues, the product does not have necessary information in Czech language, plus the product bares the symbol CE illegally.

The Czech Trade Inspection Authority banned this product from sale and from being introduced to the market.
