Type of danger: Risk of injuries by electrical shock and risk of burns
Dangerous issues:
The lamp is not stable enough.
The plastic cover did not withstand temperature increase during breakdown status of the stabilizer. The lamp stand melted through the stabilizer.
The stand overheated and deformed during thermal test and during simulated breakdown of fluorescent tube starter, located in the fluorescent tube socket.
The fluorescent tube socket does not comply with temperature and fire resistance requirements.
Market protection: The CTI has issued temporary precautions, which forbid this product from being sold on the market, until such defects have been removed/repaired.
The Czech Trade Inspectorate recommends to all consumers who purchased this product to stop using it due to safety reasons.
