Inspection of sporting equipment rental stores

(Prague, July 10, 2009). Very surprising results have been obtained from inspection activities focusing on whether responsibilities described by Consumer rights protection law and by the Czech Trade Inspection law are followed and observed by sporting equipment rental stores.

Between April 1st and June 30th 2009, inspectors of the Czech Trade Inspection Authority, of the Středočeský Inspectorate and the Inspectorate of the capital city of Prague, performed total number of 12 inspections within their regions. No violations have been discovered.

“Based on the obtained results, we may say that the quality of services offered by sporting equipment rental stores are in compliance with the applicable responsibilities and legal regulations, as described by relevant law”, said the General Director of the Czech Trade Inspection Authority RNDr. Jana Příhodová.
