The CTI prohibited sale of dangerous light chain called Lucky Star.
(Prague, March 24, 2009), the Czech Trade Inspectorate found out about a dangerous product sold on the Czech market, which poses risk of injuries by electric shock and fire burns.
It is a light chain called Lucky Star. The supplier is L&S.

The above-mentioned product has several constructional deficiencies - insufficient size of cross-section of inner and outer wires, dimensions of the plug fork are not within the specified limits/tolerances, insufficient length of power cable, live parts of the fork may be touched when inserting into power outlet, wires of the light chain have only basic insulation and the product failed the open fire test. These deficiencies may cause serious injuries by electric shock, burns or may even cause fire of the product.
The Czech Trade Inspectorate forbade this product from sale or from being introduced to the market, ordered recall of this product from the market and established the applicable responsibility to inform consumers about the dangerous nature of this product.
