This product has several design flaws and defects – insufficient cross-section of inner wires and power cable and insufficient length of the power cable. During stress testing one-lead wire separated from the light source. The used wires have only basic insulation and may be touched; the light chain does not have warning label saying “Danger. Risk of injury by electric shock”, dimensions of P2 fork (secure pin/contact is missing), are not within the specified limits/tolerances. Live parts of the fork are accessible when inserting into power outlet. Open fire testing showed that light bulb socket burns with fire even after the flame source is removed - which may cause injury by electric shock, burns or may even cause fire.
The Czech Trade Inspectorate forbade this product from sale or from being introduced to the market, ordered recall of this product from the market and established the applicable responsibility to inform consumers about dangerous nature of this product.
