- Ban on sale of four pieces of children bikes in the total value of CZK 14,488 (in 2 cases)
- 5 fines in the total amount of CZK 9,000 imposed at the spot for failures to information obligations defined by the Act on Consumer Protection (sec. 9, par. 1 of the Act No. 634/1002 Coll.)
- Administrative proceedings concerning imposing a fine was launched with two selling persons; other cases are being resolved
- One sample of a bicycle was taken for safety assessment due to the suspicion that it does not meet requirements defined by the Act on General Safety of Products

The Czech Trade Inspection Authority will go on controlling bicycles for children with regard to the assortment of products designed for small users and also popular among all generations. The CTIA recommends consumers to be careful especially concerning protective elements. Their absence or insufficient range poses a serious risk to children’s safety and health.
