THE GOAL OF THE INSPECTION
To inspect and monitor the quality of fuels sold on the territory of the
INSPECTED SUBJECTS:
Gas stations located on the territory of the
INSPECTION SUBJECT:
To collect fuel samples (gasoline, diesel fuels, mixed fuels and LPG fuels) and to check whether they comply with the required quality standards and also with regulations specified in Rule No. 3, Item 1, Rule No. 311/2006 Coll., the Fuel quality law.
INSPECTION RESULTS
From the total number of samples (88) collected during the month of October 2009 only 3 samples failed to comply with the necessary quality requirements. 3,4 %.

It is clear from the chart that some diesel fuel samples did not comply with necessary requirements. From the total of 40 inspected samples of diesel fuel, 3 samples (7.5%) showed variations in the flashpoint values. 33 collected samples of automotive gasoline and 15 samples of LPG did not show any variations or discrepancies. The inspection results, including unsatisfactory values are included in appendix No. 1.
The list of gas stations inspected during the month of October 2009, which failed to comply with the required fuel quality standards, are listed in appendix No. 2, which also slows the unsatisfactory quality values.
During the month of October, the upper bio additive limits in fuels were not exceeded. The average FAME contents in diesel fuels inspected during October was 4.4% of volume units. The maximum is 5.3% volume units. The average measured contents of ethanol in automotive gasoline was 2,7% volume units. Maximum is 4.3% of volume units.
Starting on January 1, 2009 and according to Directive No. 229/2004 Coll., only sulphur free fuels may be sold, with maximum sulphur contents of 10 mg/kg (when the measurement uncertainty factor is taken into consideration). The maximum uncertainty factor may be more than 13 mg/kg for automotive fuels and 12 mg/kg for diesel fuels.
The average measured contents of sulphur in automotive gasoline was 3,6 mg/kg (max. 9,0 mg/kg) and in diesel fuels 7,5 mg/kg (max. 11,0 mg/kg).
Conclusion
The laboratory testing of the collected samples showed that 3 samples of diesel fuels failed to comply with the required quality standards. Therefore, in October 2009, 3.4% of all collected samples were found unsatisfactory. All collected LPG samples complied with the required quality standards.
