The CTIA cooperated mostly with the Foreign Police Department, Customs Department of the Czech Republic, the Czech Environmental Inspectorate, County hygiene office, the Czech Telecommunication Office, the Police of the Czech Republic, city police departments and city offices.
Mutual inspections have been performed based on common standards and on long-term cooperation agreements or in accordance with recent agreements, applicable to current or special events of the Czech Trade Inspection Authority.
As far as inspection activities focusing on recycling of raw materials are concerned, the CTIA systematically cooperated with the Czech Environmental Inspectorate.
More intense and more frequent cooperation occurred between the CTIA and the Foreign Police Department. The reason for the more intensive cooperation was mainly the fact that this police department is very versatile in connection with inspection and supervisory activities performed along the border, focusing on flea markets and buy and sale affairs, as well as within the inner markets – inspections of young adults, Asian restaurants, etc.
As far as inspections focusing on the sale of alcohol beverages to young adults are concerned, the CTIA evaluates very positively cooperation with city offices, mainly with social care departments.
“The current cooperation and relationship between the Czech Trade Inspection Authority and other state authorities and institutions is very positive and also very important. I am convinced that this trend will continue in the future”, said RNDr. Jana Příhodová, the General Director of the Czech Trade Inspection Authority.
