The CTI inspectors discovered a dangerous product ? a remote control car toy

(Prague,  March 19, 2009) the Czech Trade Inspectorate discovered that a dangerous consumer product is being sold on the Czech market. This product represents a serious health danger to small children.

It is a remote control car toy, type International Sport Car Power No. 28089  EAN 6921380122141, imported to our market from China.

 

Testing revealed that material of the printed circuit board does not comply with applicable electronic circuit regulations, specifying thermal and abnormal activities. The printed board burn time, exceeded the allowed time by 15 seconds. This serious defect may cause fire of the circuit board and therefore burn injuries to person handling this product.
