The Czech Trade Inspectorate is prepared to publish ALL names?

The Czech Trade Inspectorate (CTI) is ready to publish ALL names of inspected and penalized (sanctioned) subjects, providing that publishing of such names will be supported by the applicable law or if ordered by the court.

The Czech Trade Inspectorate (CTI) is ready to publish ALL names of inspected and penalized (sanctioned) subjects, providing that publishing of such names will be supported by the applicable law or if ordered by the court. At present time, publishing of applicable names is allowed and supported by the Commercial Competition Protection Law.

Publishing only selected names would discriminate a certain area of the commercial sphere.

Filing a lawsuit at the applicable court of law, or applying other corrective measures may be done by each inspected entity, which does not agree with the resolution of the inspection body and therefore, rights of participants of the legal proceedings (which is not public pursuant to the applicable law) must be observed.

However, information obtained from fuel analysis, (which are unsatisfactory or outside the required limits), are available to the Czech Trade Inspectorate at a time when such information has no value to consumers, because gas stations refill their reservoirs with new fuel every day. Therefore, real-time information sharing with consumers, relevant to the fuel quality is not possible.

In regards to these problems, you may find additional information and responses of the CTI from previous times:
