Control activity - harvest festival

(Prague, October 6, 2010) Inspectors of the Královéhradecký and Pardubický Inspectorate of the Czech Trade Inspection performed a control activity at the harvest festival Královéhradecké krajské dožínky. The controls were focused on fairness of sale and services at the event.

Inspectors performed a control of 9 workplaces and detected infringements of laws in 4 cases, i.e. 44.4%.

 

In one case, uncertified measure was used which was why the consumer did not have any possibility to agree with the correctness of weight. In 2 cases, no certified bar dishes were available, so the consumer did not have any possibility to check the correctness of the amount of drinks. Last but not least, incorrect billing was detected in one stall. Due to the mentioned infringements of law, 4 fines were issued at the inspection location in the total amount of CZK 2,500. Ban was issued on using the uncertified measure.
