Control at the River Side marketplace

(Prague, September 1, 2010) On August 25, 2010, the Středočeský and Praha Inspectorate of the Czech Trade Inspection performed a control at the River Side marketplace focused on offering and selling goods infringing intellectual property rights.

8 CTI employees and 4 employees of the Customs Office D8 participated in the control.

Within the event, in total 74 products infringing some intellectual property rights were confiscated. The total value of the original products would be CZK 446,890. The objects to confiscation were textile products of lather fancy goods labelled mostly with trade-marks Armani, Gucci, Dolce&Gabanna, Louis Vuitton, Puma, Burbbery, Lacoste, Hugo Boss, Levis a Hello Kitty. Products were brought out of reach of the controlled persons with who administrative proceedings will be launched.
