In total 132 controls were performed and they were focused on offering and selling fakes. In 22 checked branches there were confiscated totally 1.301 pieces of products infringing some of the intellectual property rights in the total amount of 998.440 CZK. In 4 cases we have not managed to identify the controlled person, yet.

The CTIA inspectors cooperated with the members of the Customs Office, the Police of the Czech Republic and the Alien Police.

Confiscated were textile goods, audio and video records, sports products and accessories. The confiscated forgeries were mostly marked with trade-marks Puma, Adidas, Nike a Luis Vuitton.

The chart shows that the most of the discovered forgeries were in the region of the Jihomoravský and Zlínský Inspectorate of the CTIA, as the inspectors during 11 controls confiscated 806 pieces of fakes. In the Hatě marketplace 1 control was performed in the cooperation with the Alien Police and 495 pieces of forgeries were confiscated in the total amount of 844.380 CZK. In this control 6 inspectors and 3 members of the Police of the Czech Republic participated. Other fakes were confiscated within ordinary controls in shops in the total number of 311 pieces in the total amount of 37.880 CZK.

228 forgeries in the total amount of 98.680 CZK were confiscated by the inspectors of the Ústecký and Liberecký Inspectorate of the CTIA. These controls were performed in Ústí nad Labem, Litoměřice, Dubí, Liberec and Most.

In 18 cases administrative proceedings wil begin. And 4 fines were issued at the location of the inspection.
