The lighters do not meet requirements of the government regulation on safety of lighters introduced to the market. According to the regulation, any lighter of an unusual type is always considered as dangerous and cannot be introduced to the market. Therefore the products do not meet requirements defined by the law.

There is a danger of fire and burning of a child who very easily can (due to the size and shape) interchange the lighters for groceries (lighters Novelty in the shape of chewing gums package in yellow and green wrapper marked JUICY FRUIT and LIGHTER) or for a toy (lighter Novelty in the shape of a hand grenade; in the combination of green, brown and black colours). In the case of the lighter Novelty in the shape of a pistol in the combination of silver and black colours, which is also equipped with a laser, there is moreover a danger of possible eyesight damage.
