(Prague, December 22, 2011) The same as in the previous years, this year’s inspection activity of the Czech Trade Inspection Authority concentrated on sale of traditional assortment in the pre-Christmas time. During this period, inspectors focused especially on various fairs, sale of Christmas trees, fish and pyrotechnics. They checked stalls and spots of sale of 377 sellers and found infringements of obligations in 92 cases, i.e. 25% of cases. They imposed 49 fines at the spot in the amount of CZK 68,500. Controls will continue until the end of the year.
