CTIA found more poor quality fuel samples in August (Results of monitoring of fuel quality in August 2012)

(Prague, September 19, 2012) The CTIA continued in its inspection activities concerning the quality of fuels in the second month of the summer holidays. On the territory of the Czech Republic, totally 236 samples of motor petrol, motor oil, mixed fuel, bio fuel, LPG, CNG and Ethanol E85 were taken including 9 which failed the appropriate quality standards. There were findings in 4 motor petrol samples, 3 motor oil samples, 1 mixed fuel sample and 1 ethanol sample. Till the end of the year, more than 1,100 fuel samples will be taken.

5 million fine for PROLUX Consulting Int. s.r.o. confirmed

(Prague, September 17, 2012) After having considered all the circumstances, the Director General of the Czech Trade Inspection Authority Jan Štěpánek confirmed the fine in the amount of 5 million CZK imposed by the Středočeský and Prague Inspectorate to the real estate agency PROLUX Consulting Int., s.r.o. for breaching the ban on the use of unfair commercial practices when concluding contracts on sale of realties.
