Strawberry-shaped guitar is a risky toy!

(Prague, November 25, 2015) The Czech Trade Inspection Authority discovered that the danger of health damage is posed to children within game with a strawberry-shaped guitar. During a laboratory test the temperature of the neck increased where the battery cover is. After distribution of the product was prohibited, distributor withdrew the product from the market and the toy was subsequently notified into the RAPES system and published in the 46th week, file No. A 11/0095/15. Bristles should not fall out from toothbrush

(Prague, November 24, 2015) A consumer turned to an inspectorate of the Czech Trade Inspection Authority after not having been satisfied with the quality of the toothbrush Profesional Ultra Soft. One automotive petrol sample failed the quality parameter “octane number” and an inspected diesel fuel sample didn’t reach the minimum value concerning flash point. CTIA investigated chain stores based on consumers’ complaints

Hlinsko: shops with flaws, fuels without defects

(Hradec Králové, November 13, 2015) On November 4, not only officers of the Czech Trade Inspection Authority, but also employees of customs office, veterinary administration and local office of the Czech Metrological Institute participated in an inspection action of the CTIA in Hlinsko v Čechách. Small parts of cuddly snowman can cause suffocation

(Prague, November 11, 2015) Cuddly toys belong among the most favourite toys no matter how they look like. Anyhow, they need to be safe when children should play with them. A cuddly snowman failed this elementary requirement because it posed serious risk of blocking air ways in the consequence of inhalation of released small parts.
