8 inspections of stand sell at Brno dam with 6 flaws

(Brno, June 23, 2016) An extraordinary CTIA inspection at the Brno dam was carried out focusing on consumer protection within stand sell during a fireworks show. Flaws were discovered at 6 of 8 workplaces which was 75%. Inspectors imposed an on-the-spot fine amounting to CZK 8,000 in three cases and administrative proceedings will start in the other three cases. Counterfeits – 1Q 2016

(Prague, June 17, 2016) The Czech Trade Inspection Authority carried out inspections in ordinary shops and e-shops and inspected compliance with the prohibition to offer, sell and store products infringing certain intellectual property rights. Violations of certain intellectual property rights were proven in 91 of 682 inspections, i.e. 13.3%. Toys and counterfeits collected within CTIA inspections

Officers of the Liberecký, Ústecký and Středočeský inspectorates detected misconducts concerning sale of goods. They collected almost 500 pieces of counterfeits in Hřensko of Northern Bohemia and plush toys that were sold freely without any packaging at the Tiskařská Street in Prague 10. Presentation sales events 2016
