(Prague, July 1, 2016) The Czech Trade Inspection Authority long-term carries out inspections in the area of consumer discrimination. In the first quarter of 2016 it continued in the activity within 346 inspections within which suspicion of some form of discrimination was detected in 5 cases, which represents 1.45% of all inspections. (Prague, July 1, 2016) The Czech Trade Inspection Authority has lately received a high number of complaints and queries concerning spam e-mails sent out from the e-mail address kontrola@wwwcoi.cz. These e-mails aren’t sent by the Czech Trade Inspection Authority. However, the e-mails state that during an “inspection” of a particular entrepreneur’s website flaws were detected and an assistance is offered against payment.
