(Hradec Králové, February 12, 2018) The Czech Trade Inspection Authority of the Hradec Králové and Pardubice Regions carried out an extraordinary inspection in Chrudim. It carried out 24 inspections in shops and restaurants and detected almost 70% cases in which law was violated.

(Ústí nad Labem, February 9, 2018) The Czech Trade Inspection Authority of the Ústí Region and the Liberec Region carried out an inspection of a car service and found breaches of the Act on Consumer Protection. The trader failed to provide an order confirmation and refused to accept a claim.

(České Budějovice, February 6, 2018) The Czech Trade Inspection Authority of the South Bohemian Region secured counterfeited watches in an ordinary shop in the centre of České Budějovice at the end of January. These were 26 pieces of watches, in the original price of CZK 473,000. The products were exhibited in front of a shop at the Lannova Street.

(Prague, February 2, 2018) From the start of the winter touristic season, the Czech Trade Inspection Authority continuously monitors compliance with the legislation in mountain resorts. Inspectors have carried out 75 inspections so far and violations of law have been detected in 20 cases. In total, they imposed 13 fines amounting to CZK 22,000. Inspections continue.
