One diesel sample failed in March

(Prague, 27 April 2021) The Czech Trade Inspection Authority inspected the quality of fuel in March. In total, it took 273 fuel samples at domestic filling stations. One diesel sample did not meet the quality requirements. It also imposed a sales ban on 2,239.00 litres of fuel in the value amounting to CZK 66,946.10.

CTIA prohibited dangerous air balloons

(Prague, 26 April 2021) The Czech Trade Inspection Authority found a dangerous toy on the domestic market – air balloons, which can cause a serious injury to children. The CTIA ordered withdrawal of the product from the market.

(Prague, 23 April 2021) The Czech Trade Inspection Authority has identified a dangerous charger in the domestic market that can pose a serious safety risk to consumers. It is a product USB charger, model GoGen ACH 100, 1xUSB, 1A. CTIA identified a serious risk of electric shock in this product. The Czech Trade Inspection Authority ordered withdrawal of the product from the market.

(Prague, 21 April 2021) The Czech Trade Inspection Authority identified a dangerous product on the domestic market that may pose a health risk to children. It is a product of a baby bikini Cygnus. The CTIA ordered the product to be withdrawn from the market.

CTIA prohibited a children’s car toy „ROBOT DEFORM YI“

(Prague, April 19, 2021) The Czech Trade Inspection Authority found that there is an electric toy in the market that can pose a serious safety risk to children. It is the product ROBOT DEFORM YI JUN/NO:YJ388-22. The Czech Trade Inspection Authority banned the sale of the toy and ordered the product to be withdrawn from the market.

Most work gloves failed within CTIA inspections

(Prague, April 16, 2021) The Czech Trade Inspection Authority repeatedly carries out inspections of protective work gloves, which are in great demand for their universal use. In 2020, it inspected 32 types of protective gloves and detected infringements in 25 types of gloves (78%).

CTIA prohibited a dangerous charger

(Prague, April 15, 2021) The Czech Trade Inspection Authority identified electrical equipment on the domestic market which may pose a risk to consumers. This is the product Pool INTEX Prism Frame + adapter SKROSS 13A/250V BS1363-2. Part of the filtration supply cable is a plug that cannot be connected to an electrical outlet used in the Czech Republic.

CTIA warns against the charger SWISSTEN CLT304 – high risk of injury from electric current

(Prague, April 9, 2021) The Czech Trade Inspection Authority found a dangerous USB charger in the market of the Czech Republic, which can pose a high risk of electric shock to consumers. It is the product of the SWISSTEN CLT304 USB charger. The Czech Trade Inspection Authority imposed a ban on the supply of the product to the market and the immediate withdrawal of the product from the market.
