(Continuous report of 3rd quarter of 2016)
(Prague, December 7, 2016) The Czech Trade Inspection Authority carries out inspections of alcohol sale in the national retail market. Although during the third quarter of 2016 sellers didn’t breach law on obligatory marking of spirits, legal regulations are still breached in terms of other goods inspected by the CTIA. Shortcomings were detected in 521 of 1,226 inspections, i.e. in almost 43% of cases. In the 3rd quarter of 2016, violations of these legal regulations resulted in 520 fines amounting to CZK 2,533,500.
