(Ústí nad Labem, November 12, 2019) Last Friday, the Czech Trade Inspection Authority of Ústí nad Labem and Liberec inspected the ban on selling alcoholic beverages to persons under 18 years in Děčín. Alcohol was sold to the juvenile at all three inspections at selected workplaces. Inspections were carried out within the HAD action. The CTIA will start administrative proceedings with the operators of bars and restaurants and the amount of fines will also be decided. “The action was co-ordinated by the Police of the Czech Republic in Děčín and other state units took part in it - Regional Hygienic Station, Authorities of Social and Legal Protection of Children, Customs Administration, Department of Economic Crime of the Police of the Czech Republic. Inspections were carried out in locations pre-selected by the police,” says Renata Linhartová, the Director of the CTIA for the Ústí and Liberec regions.
