(Prague, August 27, 2015) Officers of the Czech Trade Inspection Authority found out that a little bed made from pine wood is offered in the Czech market that poses serious safety risk to children users. Test proved low strength of used wooden parts which could result in injury of a child if sidewalls or bottom brake. Wholes and spaces in the bed can cause child’s injury if legs or arms or fingers get stuck in these spaces. Child can get caught on high corner edges with unsuitable clothing or decoration and subsequently strangulate. The bed was published in European database of dangerous products RAPEX, file number A12/1031/15.
