(Continuous report of 3rd quarter of 2016)
(Prague, November 28, 2016) Counterfeits of various trademarks were subjects to an inspection action of the Czech Trade Inspection Authority in the third quarter of 2016 when 346 inspections were carried out. Inspectors collected almost 10,300 pieces of fakes in the value of more than CZK 28 million, including mainly the following brands: Michael Kors, Adidas, Minions, and Nike. Highest numbers of collected products concerned video and audio products, textile, footwear, toys, and other product types such as sunglasses, umbrellas, and pharmacy goods. CTIA cooperated with the Customs Administration within these inspections.
