(Prague, December 21, 2020) On December 16, 2020, the Czech Trade Inspection Authority of the South Bohemian Region and the Vysočina Region, in cooperation with the Alien Police, carried out an extraordinary inspection action at the marketplace in Vyšší Brod. It focused on the offer, sale and storage of products infringing certain intellectual property rights, i.e. counterfeits. Inspectors took the total of 1,976 items of products in the total value of CZK 8,469,370. There was a suspicion of storing and selling illegal imitations. Two stands were entered with the assistance of an invited person – a locksmith.
