(Prague, 3 August 2020) The Czech Trade Inspection Authority carried out an inspection activity aimed at the compliance with the obligations under the Act on Clean Air Protection in the offer and sale of products containing volatile organic substances and organic compounds. Specifically, it focused on the offer and sale of products such as paints, varnishes, thinners, solvents or technical gasoline cleaners. In total, it carried out 156 inspections in this area, and in 6 cases, traders violated the Air Protection Act.
