CTIA took counterfeits for nearly CZK 24 million in Hatě

(Brno, 27 August 2021) The Czech Trade Inspection Authority of the South Moravian and Zlín Regions carried out an extraordinary inspection action at the Hatě marketplace. It took 4,660 items of counterfeit goods worth almost CZK 24 million. "Goods infringing intellectual property rights were found and seized at 31 locations. Within the inspection action, the powers of the Czech Trade Inspectorate were used and 2 passenger cars and 3 entrances of non-residential premises and 4 stalls were opened," says Karel Havlíček, Director of the CTIA Inspectorate for the South Moravia and Zlín Regions, commenting on the results of the large-scale inspection action.
