(Brno, January 2, 2020) The Czech Trade Inspection Authority of the South Moravian and Zlín Regions inspected compliance with the amendment to the Consumer Protection Act, which has been in force since the summer of 2019, responding to the new European regulation prohibiting the blocking of purchases according to the country of the buyer, the so-called geo-blocking. CTIA carried out inspections of 5 online stores operating abroad on foreign domains and found deficiencies in 3 of them.
