(Ostrava, August 26, 2015) Summer season of the international gardening exhibition and fair FLORA OLOMOUC was held from August 20 to 23, 2015, and attracted traditionally high number of fans of flowers and gardeners, both experts and laics from the Czech Republic and abroad. Inspection employees of the appropriate CTIA inspectorate supervised compliance with obligations determined for sale of cultivars and various assortment or within provision of services. “Inspectors detected flaws within 9 of 19 inspections of selected points of sale. 7 cases concerned less serious breaches for which fines amounting to 11,000 CZK were imposed. Two inspected persons will be imposed fines in administrative proceedings,” said Boris Stabryn, the Director of the Inspectorate of the Czech Trade Inspection Authority based in Ostrava.
